Simple and unfussy porcelain light socket.
Features a nickel plated wire loop at the top of the socket and two cable entry, allowing this lamp holder to be used to create festoon lighting. Designed to be used indoor, however for the occasional outdoor use is ok on those special summer days, weather permitting.
Smooth gloss finish available in four colours: Black, White, Pebble Grey and Shadow Grey.
Compatible with our E27 (screw) filament bulbs.

We recommend the use of a qualified electrician to wire these sockets. Sockets made from porcelain, an insulating material, can be wired with two core cable. When using three core it is advisable to remove a short length of cable internally so as not to contact with live connections, leaving just enough to locate in the cord grip.
Please note the threaded base locks into place, this is a safety feature to avoid accidental unscrewing when fully installed. Care must be taken when wiring to avoid accidental damage to these teeth.
