How to choose your bulb Firstly, all of our Clear Glass bulbs are ambient warm white. When we say "cooler" we mean a cooler warm white and when we say "brighter" we mean a brighter ambient light. 4w Clear Glass - these are our original LED filament bulbs introduced as a substitute for the Edison style incandescent carbon filaments. 7w Clear Glass - choose this if you need something brighter than the 4w but with the same colour temperature 6w Clear Glass - almost as bright as the 7w but this is the bulb to choose if you prefer a slightly cooler light. Searched high and low and was getting disheartened until I found Vintage Lightbulb Company. The VLC medium sized clear 7 watt globes fit the bill perfectly! Bulbs look great in the John Lewis 5 point light fitting, the brightness range is great. Nice crisp light at full power and softer and warm through the mid range. Looks great off/low setting too with a neat spiral shaped element. No flickering or strobing issues. Purchase and delivery was all smooth and easy and the bulbs arrived packaged securely with mostly recyclable materials. Not a cheap purchase but got a quality product that is well worth it I wish there were more companies like VLC out there, I highly recommend and will shop here again and my thanks to all at VLC for making my day!
