Smooth gloss finish available in four colours: Black, White, Light and Dark Grey. Compatible with our E27 (screw) filament bulbs. Ceiling roses, cable guides and decentralisers to match. We recommend the use of a qualified electrician to wire these sockets. Sockets made from porcelain, an insulating material, can be wired with two core cable. When using three core it is advisable to remove a short length of cable internally so as not to contact with live connections, leaving just enough to locate in the cord grip. Please note the threaded base locks into place, this is a safety feature to avoid accidental unscrewing when fully installed. Care must be taken when wiring to avoid accidental damage to these teeth. Unfortunately on unboxing I dropped one (one about 30cm on to the kitchen worktop) and it broke! Wiring up is a simple two wire screw terminals. The bottom of the lamp holder unscrews and I’ve hung a light shade of this (not sure if that’s intended or not) and it looks good, but screwing it all back together is a bit of a faff - but doable and worth it for the overall look.
